Description
Wayne Carroll is wasting away in a Fort Yuma hotbox when his young, meddling wife, Kate, cuts a deal with the corrupt warden: Wayne can go free, if she'll snitch when he leaves town. The warden's cohort, brutal U.S. Marshal Shig Radiguet, wants Wayne to lead them to a far more interesting quarry -- a sixty-thousand dollar army payroll that he stole and stashed before landing in jail. But when the old bandit slips away in the dead of night, he sets off a greedy chase across a parched southwestern desert. Reuniting with his payroll heist co-conspirators, Wayne can taste the money -- and a fresh start for his wife and teenage son. But to make his dreams come true, he'll have to stop Radiguet's bloody run for treasure -- and avenge the death of an innocent man.
